This Privacy Policy describes how Vouve (the "App") handles information when you use it on iOS. We designed Vouve to work with as little data collection as possible. The most sensitive operation in the App — pose detection on your camera feed — happens entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
Vouve does not collect, store on a server, or share any of the following:
The App contains no third-party advertising SDKs and no analytics SDKs.
Vouve requests access to your iPhone camera so that it can:
The live camera feed is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored beyond the duration needed to render the next preview frame. Pose detection happens locally on your device using Apple's bundled machine-learning models. No frames are sent to any external server.
When you take a picture in Vouve, you can save it to your iOS Photos library. To do so the App requests "Add Photos Only" permission. Photos saved to your library are stored under your control by iOS — Vouve does not retain a copy and does not have access to read your existing Photos library.
The App reads your phone's pitch and orientation from the on-device motion sensor to coach you on holding the phone level. This data stays on the device and is not stored.
Vouve offers Pro features through Apple's StoreKit. When you purchase or restore a subscription:
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions.
The following items are stored only on your device using the operating system's standard preferences storage. They never leave your device:
Your selected pose category and Pro entitlement state are kept only in memory while the App is running, and Pro status is read directly from Apple StoreKit each launch.
Vouve is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Vouve integrates only with first-party Apple services:
No third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks are integrated into Vouve.
Because Vouve does not collect or store personal data on a server, there is no remote profile to export, correct, or delete. To remove all data, simply delete the App from your device. iOS will remove all local data automatically.
If this policy materially changes we will update the effective date above and post the new version at this URL. Continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance.
